The 2012 Fall ILI Meeting was held on October 29th at the Bloomington Convention Center. As usual, the board of directors met at noon to review the year and to approve the financial budget for the next fiscal year.
During the afternoon, instead of a Round Table Discussion Group, this time we elected to invite all of our Associate Members to provide a mini trade show for the rest of the membership. Many associates members took advantage of the opportunity to show and explain their products and services. It was also a great afternoon of networking and re-establishing old friendships.
After a wonderful buffet dinner, Bill Browne, of Ratio Architects, spoke of the challenges of staying with new design trends for building construction. In particular, he highlighted the “rain screen wall system” method.
Between the mini trade show and the dinner, more than 85 representatives from our Institute’s membership were present at this event.
